汉英“续译”的协同效应研究

摘要: 本文通过对比受试“非续译”与“续译”的汉译英译文,考察“续译”中的协同效应。研究结果证实“续译”中存在协同效应,且这一效应不仅表现在对译文范本中词汇、句子的直接复制、借用,还表现在对译文整体语言风格和翻译技巧的灵活性协同。协同方式包括直接协同、间接协同和混合协同。研究结果支持“续论”,认为“续译”在提高翻译教学质量方面具有可行性。

Abstract: This paper examined the alignment effect in the Chinese-English continuation translation by comparing the English translations of “Moonlight over the Lotus Pond” in the continuation translation task with those in the non-continuation translation task. Results show that alignment directly occurred during the continuation translation on the levels of word, phrase and structure, and occurred indirectly or in mixed ways on language style and flexibility. The alignment in translation is also the result of the alignment of translation skills. The results indicate that the translation continuation task is applicable as a teaching approach to improve students’ translation ability.
