朝鲜语敬语词加工中的空间隐喻和重量隐喻——语义信息与语法信息的双重作用

Spatial metaphor and weight metaphor in Korean honorifcs processing: The dual effects of semantic information and grammatical information

摘要: 本研究采用隐喻启动范式,考察朝鲜语敬语词加工中的空间隐喻和重量隐喻,揭示语义信息和语法信息在隐喻认知中的作用。实验1表明,在固有敬语和词素敬语加工中均存在部分的空间隐喻一致性效应:敬语词启动促进对屏幕上方字母的识别,平语词启动对字母识别无影响。实验2表明,在固有敬语和词素敬语加工中均存在部分的重量隐喻一致性效应,“左平右敬”词对促进对“左轻右重”天平的判断。这表明,在朝鲜语敬语词加工中,语义信息和语法信息均激活相应的空间知觉和重量知觉,体现出语义信息和语法信息的双重作用,为语言理解的具身观提供了证据。

Abstract: By using the metaphorical priming paradigm, this paper investigates the spatial metaphor and weight metaphor in Korean word processing and reveals the role of semantic information and grammatical information in metaphorical cognition. Experiment 1 shows that there is a partial spatial metaphorical consistency effect in both the intrinsic honorifc and morpheme honorifc processing: honorifc word priming promotes the recognition of the letters on the top of the screen, while the ordinal word priming has no such effect. Experiment 2 shows that there is a partial consistency effect of weight metaphor in the processing of both innate and morpheme honorifcs, and that “left-right honorifc” word pair can promote the recognition of “left light-right heavy” tilted balance. This indicates that both semantic information and grammatical information activate the corresponding spatial perception and weight perception in Korean word processing, which reflects the dual role of semantic and grammatical information and provides evidence for the embodied view of language understanding.
